Jurassic Park River Adventure is a water ride where you’re pretty much guaranteed to get soaked. It catapults you 155 feet into the air at extreme speeds up to 70 mph and you’ll plummet along a severe 80-degree drop and steep incline. And you’ll be racing alongside a ferocious Velociraptor pack. VelociCoaster is Florida’s fastest, tallest and most intense launch coaster ever created.

You’ll enter an immersive dinosaur habitat on a breathtaking adventure complete with 360-degree inversions and a dynamic inverted stall that alone spans more than 100 feet of track. Jurassic Park is home to the the prowling predators that continues to thrill all ages. Kong and the prehistoric monsters take up all the room there is. If you take the Express Line, you’ll miss a whole lot.Īpart from the Mess Tent food cart, there’s not a lot more to Skull Island. There’s something to see along most of the way, so keep your camera at the ready. The elaborate ride is amazingly themed, from the stone exterior to the winding pathway that you walk as you ‘wait’ in line. It opened to huge hype in the summer of 2016. Not quite an “island” in it’s own right, but the major attraction, Skull Island: Reign of King Kong is one of Universal Orlando’s latest creations. Gasoline Alley has everything for a trip to the beach and Betty Boop Store for everything, well Betty. Comic Strip Cafe, Blondie’s and Wimpy’s are quick service restaurants and Cathy’s Ice Cream sells exactly that.įor a little retail therapy, head to Toon Extra for souvenirs. Shopping and dining are plentiful here too. Take a few minutes for those golden photo ops. They are normally uncrowded and offer some great unobstructed views of the park. There are winding pathways around Me Ship, The Olive.
#Islands of adventure free
Kids will love playing on the interactive play area Me Ship, The Olive where they can use the free water cannons to give a soaking to the poor unsuspecting riders of the Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges. There are plenty of “You will get soaked, so be warned” attractions to satisfy everyone.ĭudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls is the fastest and most adventurous.ĭon’t worry if you get too wet, there are human size dryers provided. It’s the place to be for those who want to show off the ever fashionable rain poncho. Toon Lagoon is the colorful land of the Sunday funnies. There’s a Superhero Parade several times a day where you can meet and greet your favorite hero. You may even bump into one of your action hero’s riding a quad bike along the main street of Marvel Super Hero Island. Not only is it a great ride, it gives amazing views over Islands of Adventure and beyond 150 feet below.ĭon’t forget your stomach as you plunge to the depths below. If you’re not afraid of heights, take a blast on Dr Doom’s Fearfall. As you sit back in your coaster, you’ll speed off through slingshot gamma ray booster and reach speeds up to 67 miles an hour. The Incredible Hulk Coaster has an exhilarating power start. The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman is an action-packed high-def 3D ride with a fantastic finish. You’ll step right into a comic book super charged with Superheroes at Marvel Super Hero Island So, do you take left towards Marvel Super Hero Island, or right towards Seuss Landing? If that’s your hardest decision of the day, you’re in for a great day!
Once you exit Port of Entry, you’ll be facing the Islands of Adventure lagoon which all the ‘Islands’ are located around. ĭo stop to take a look around, the features and architecture is awesome! The area is themed around a Mediterranean market and is home to several stores including Islands of Adventure Trading Company, Ocean Trader Market and Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is without doubt the most popular, but there’s plenty to do everywhere else. Islands of Adventure is home to several individually themed ‘islands’, each with its own selection of shops, attractions and eateries.
